About Us

The group was formed in 2002 and we usually stage one comedy play and one musical each year.

The comedy plays are usually pantomime style and, staged at Christmas, they contain all the things associated with pantomime; bad jokes, songs and a host of unusual characters.Most of them though you would not recognise as a "normal pantomime". We've never done Aladdin, Snow White or Jack and the Beanstalk, preferring instead to take a classic story and give it the pantomime treatment. This means that you will never have seen a show quite like it.

The musical shows are more traditional, taking a standard musical and treating it in a more serious way showing the versatility of many members of the group.

A pantomime dame with a croaky voice in one show can sing like a bird in another.

Please look around, particularly at our Current Production page which gives details of our forthcoming production "The Old Woman who lived in the shoe!" It is our annual panto and will be our first show of 2009.
